End of Life Care
End of life decisions are some of the hardest pet owners have to make. We are honored to be able to care for your family member through all stages of their life including end of life care. As well as guide owners through the process and support them as they make those difficult decisions.
Humane Euthanasia
A compassionate, medically guided process used to peacefully facilitate a pet’s passing when they are suffering from a terminal illness, severe pain, or a poor quality of life. Humane euthanasia is chosen when a pet’s health or quality of life has declined, and continued treatment would only lead to prolonged suffering. Humane euthanasia is considered an act of kindness to prevent unnecessary pain and distress associated with a prolonged natural passing.
If you elect to proceed with humane euthanasia our team will be with you every step of the way. We will provide details of the process as well as go over details for pet aftercare prior to the procedure. Allowing you to be fully present with your pet as they cross the rainbow bridge.
Each of our exam rooms also allow for private exits so you do not have to pass through our main reception area after you say good bye to your loved one.

- All pets whose remains are not taken home with their family members are placed in Final Gift’s cremation service. In communal cremation your pet is cremated with other pets and their ash remains will be used to restore coral reefs damaged by climate change and will not be returned to you. More details on pet reefs can be found here (Link)
